Just me and my Ipod

Everything around me is blocked out
Only sound blaring in my ears..is my music
Cars past by but I am aware to watch out for them
There is a bounce in my stride
Every now and then, my hips sway
My ponytail bobs up and down
Side to side

Being so focused on the rhythm of the music
I hear a car's horn honking
Not even looking to see who it is
I keep walking
Suddenly..I hear a car horn
This guy in the car is waiting for the signal to turn green
I look up and he is smiling and waving at me
I barely smile and have no idea who he is
Shaking my head I think to myself "weirdo"
And just keep walking
