Setting the record straight

All my male friends ask "You and Tigg are still going? Thought you two broke up?", whenever I mention him.

He and I are friends. But we decided to cool it down a bit and just keep in touch. We both care for one another. Just that we don't chat/talk like we used to, or see eachother every week. Now we just chat once a week. We've been both busy with work. But we find time to e-mail or send a brief IM to check on one another.

We stop having sex but still keeping the friendship. This was discussed in the beginning of our relationship. He said he is very happy that I walked into his life and would be devastated if I wasn't. Meaning if I said I didn't want to have anything to do with him. But I would feel lonely without him. We have no regrets of what we did. I asked him, if he was to decide to have another affair, would he tell me? He said if he did, it would be with me. Most definitely I would.

I feel comfortable with him and we're there to listen to eachother. There is a connection between us, even if we don't speak or contact for many weeks or months. We seem to always keep in touch. I know he thinks of me because of the words that he uses when he leaves an offline message on my messenger. Yes, I do think of him every now and then.

Honestly it was tough not being able to see, kiss, touch him. I miss those moments and I learned to deal with it.
