Commentary on Cheri's post "disappointment"

I admit, I haven't been keeping up with her blog but I do my best. Late last night I finally got my chance and well...holy shit! WTF is going on??? What have these people been smoking and was there really a full moon? So I'm reading through the countless comments and was pretty much blown away at what was said.

Here's what I have to say:
It is expected that when you write a journal for all to see, you will get some negative feedback. And people will judge you on your actions.
I enjoy reading your blog and I am going to state again that you inspired me to write a blog of my own. You are in an unhapy marriage. My friends are in the same situation as you. Some are still married and others are not.

Let me say this, I know men who are married and yet they are still with their wives. I agree they don’t flaunt it or write about it for all to see. Yes, you write about your liasons and by doing so you are being referred to as a “slut and whore.” Now if a man were to write about how many women he has screwed he’s congratulated, a parade would be held in his honor or a street would be named after him. Yes, I know I’m exagerrating a bit. That is the way society is.

Why do we cheat? Why do people drink? Why do people take drugs? Sex is a drug. We want it. We can’t live without.

Women are senstive and emotional to harsh words. Cheri, like pain and scars they eventually subside and disappear. So will those comments. We do things for a reason and others may think it’s wrong. Hang in there and do what is best for you. Because that is all that matters.
