Doesn't want to share

My conversations with Stan are getting interesting. He's an ex when I was single. We weren't exclusive but we became friends and lovers.

Well he is back in my life and we have been contemplating about meeting for lunch and the possibility of an affair has been mentioned. Reminiscing about good old times can do that.

Last Friday he starts talking about a friend who is 22 years old and who met a woman in her 40's at the pool where he swims frequently. They hooked up. I said lucky her to get a young stud. He's like you want me to introduce you to my friend. Jokingly I said yes but of course I am wasn't interested. Then he says "I don't like the idea of you with another man and I prefer it be me. You know I don't like sharing you."

Whoa! Where did this come from? Dude you feeling okay?? It was the first time that I heard this coming from his mouth. This sort of blew me in a loop.

I got to thinking and told him that he should stay faithful. He was surprised by this and I told him to trust me. I know he was disappointed but he still wanted to meet for lunch and just remain friends. It has been 8 years since we last saw eachother.
